The fans of our well respected Critical+ strain are usually very happy with its rapid growth, heavy harvests and strong flavour but the strain has been around a while now and after several years of continuous use they are beginning to get a little bored with its flavour and effects, something that obviously happens to us all when we enjoy a particular strain; it feels as tho it loses its intensity.

Crossing it with the highest quality JYD Haze, which has a long 84 day flowering time, we have tried to increase the psychoactive ingredients as much as possible without increasing the flowering period too much. Also we obtain a better resistance to damp/moisture in order to assure a successful harvest.

Critical+ is clearly the dominant part of the Cloud #9 cannabis plant which matures a few days later but in exchange has greatly improved its taste and effects.

The quantity and size of the buds produced from the Cloud #9 seeds much surpass that of Critical+, while the taste includes more flavours than that of its productive predecessor which as we know was already respected for its good flavour. Another clear improvement in the Cloud #9 is its growing vigour, which has increased .

This hybrid tends to grow in the shape of a xmas tree, with longish branches from the main trunk. It is sometimes required to support these branches if you are growing them outdoors to prevent them from breaking in strong winds, especially with larger cannabis plants which can reach heights of around 3m tall.

A small amount of these plants flower somewhat later due to the Haze genes. It is recommended to allow these plants to fully mature in order to obtain the most intense flavour and effects.

The spicy smells, wonderful taste of haze and an intense psycho active effect are the main features of this great strain. Sweet Deep Grapefruit also has great mould resistance and can reach a massive size if it is grown outdoors in good soil in a sunny climate. i.e. here in Spain. It is not unusual for it to reach up to 15 foot tall in the right conditions!

As with all high production Sativas, it needs a lot of nutrients, particularly iron, zinc, magnesium and nitrogen, and a pH under 6.3 for the very best development.

It is suitable for Scrog/ Lst type grows or be bent well for growing outdoors which is often the only option to hide it properly from public eyes.

A legendary strain which originated over in the UK. Its history is simple and the Cheese strains are the most well-known throughout the country. For countless smokers in the UK, an essential yardstick for knowing if a variety of cannabis is worthy is by comparing it to the Cheese cannabis plants. It has been included in the Top Ten by most coffee-shops in Amsterdam and even awarded a prize in the High Times Cannabis Cup.

The name Cheese derives from it’s intense, long-lasting Indica taste similar to strong, well-cured, vintage cheese and hey we know a lot about cheese over here in Spain but obviously, there’s more than just the flavour alone to this strain. The coat of trichomes which cover the flowers of this pungent variety is enough to induce you to smoke it rather than eat it with bread and wine! It produces a well-balanced effect, a body and head mixture containing a noticeable amount of CBD, which compliments the effects of THC contained in the resin.

With 8 week flowering and potentially heavy yields, Its style is relaxed, with long outstretched leaves and slim stalks, an heirloom from its skunk background but the buds it produces are thick and plentiful and when exposed to adequately low temperatures, can obtain a light violet colour.

This particular Dinafem strain was originally developed in the USA and later spread to Canada, where it was continually cultivated, selected, developed and improved. The original genetics were a cross between a purple Mexican variety, a Thai sativa and an original Afghani strain. This strain has a bit of a name for being less stable than some seeds normally found for domestic use. But that doesn’t keep it from smelling wonderful and having an incredible purple colour that makes it one of the most beautiful cannabis plants in the world. The instability issue is seen in some cannabis plants that grow deformed leaves but when they begin flowering they are surprisingly aromatic and resinous. sweet fruity scent that ranges from intense forest fruit to a combination of fruit and strong acidity of Afghani Indica.

This particular variety produces more occasional masculine looking flowers at the top of the buds than many of Dinafems other well-known cannabis seeds.

The vast majority of these Blue Fruit cannabis plants that produce masculine looking flowers pose little problem; however, cool growing temperatures are suggested and around a 50% humidity level. Also, try not to heat stress them too much. The quality, colour, resin, aroma and taste of this little gem justify these shortcomings, particularly for those with plenty of grow space to thrown down a few seeds. They take on a purple-violet tone both indoors and outdoors when nights are cold; the colder the nights, the more intense the autumn colour of the plants. Abundant resin, combination body-head high; psychoactive but nicely balanced by the calming effect. The ultimate combination of autumn colour, sweet berry aroma and flavour, resin crystal covered flowers has captivated thousands of growers around the world.

Recommended for experienced cannabis growers simply due to the unusual traits that may worry the inexperienced.

An Indica / Sativa / Ruderalis hybrid created from the combination of several generations of Dinafems ‘Critical +’ and ‘Roadrunner’ genetic lines, close to the original mother and crossing with the most fragrant group of males. Using large groups of champions and stallions, they have come as close as possible to the original flavor and aroma of the very popular Critical +, whilst maintaining high genetic diversity that ensures optimum resistance to pests and diseases.

Is a variety with a very regular pattern of growth characterized by large internodesand an open structure, typical of the progenitor ‘Critical’. This pattern is an open structure which encourages homogeneity and consistency in the penetration of light to the plant, enabling greater production and a regular size of the buds along the entire plant.

It reaches an average height of 3 feet indoors and reminds us of the mother, known only for its very sweet taste and excellent resin production, dark and high quality. I love the flowering stage with this strain, we found that in both vegetative appearance and bud formation the plant strongly resembles the original Critical , with the pistils orange skunk heritage and productivity clearly pqassed down the line.

The texture and appearance of the heart is similar to the Critical and increasingly moving away from what is normally a slightly different formation of autoflowering strains. Automatic Critical+ has also inherited the aroma and sweet fruity taste; fruity, with hints of sweet orange that made the original Critical strains extremely popular.

We believe that the aroma and taste of the new Critical automatic are undoubtedly the height of any commercial variety found in the European market. It is not an exact copy of the mother for sure, but certainly recognisable, it is the best automatic I have seen so far and it should convince those who had never tried an auto-flowering variety!

The Critical strains have been one of the best known and intensely grown variety of cannabis in Spain over the past few years. Basically it is the Spanish version of ‘Skunk’.

Critical Jack’s genes are dominated by the Skunk strain, which is also complimented with an Indica variety of Afghani origins and ‘Big Bud’ another well known and respected cannabis plant.

Dinafem seeds have managed to create a truly wonderful seed, crossing their Critical+ with the most productive sativa in their catalogue of mother plants. The results have brought 60 days of flowering, enough for a harvest of plants that have a really fast growth, producing up to a high 21% THC content, and yielding a dry weight similar to indica or hybrid varieties.

They grow a little bit shabby like the sativa, with lots of knots and large light green leaves that often hang quite limp. Lots of flowers are produced by the Critical Jack totally covered with large resin crystals, in a much shorter period than the average sativa.

The Critical Jack does not have the effect of a pure sativa, but it does have a fairly strong effect nevertheless, with a definite psychoactive side. It has an intense fruit flavour as a rule but sometimes has been know to produce a lemony wood taste. Very good yield, even more than Critical+ with flowers which are very regular in size. Good grow strength and resistance to mould, damp and fungus. Nevertheless, if the weather is too wet or climate conditions unfavourable, outdoor plants can be harvested at the end of September.
