With Spain making it difficult (illegal) to process our hemp here in Spain now, we have had to really focus on farming and just stay out of the retail space for a while. It’s simply more sustainable than us sending hemp to a partner somewhere like Switzerland to extract for us, for them to then ship it back and its cost is three times what it used to cost along with the bigger carbon footprint. Our goal over this last year or three was to establish Spain as ‘the central hub for hemp processing in Europe. I can’t start moAning too much about the shortsightedness of politicians, I’d be here all week. So we now ship the hemp out with one or two partner agreements but for now, Granjacia Farms won’t sell our brand. I may even consider selling the brand. It can still be operated and drive sales… I just can’t be doing with it, to be honest 🙂
